What this means is you might be able to get tickets for less than face value – given that as I type this post (at 10:09am) the current lowest ticket price on viagogo is £59.99
Use voucher code: BRITS20

Update: Fri 19-Feb @ 09:10am SeeTickets are showing as SOLD OUT already for this concert!
Update: Fri 19-Feb @ 09:17am Ticketline are also now showing as sold out for this concert
Update: Fri 19-Feb @ 09:25am TicketWeb have also sold out of their allocation
Update: Fri 19-Feb @ 09:29am I think Ticketmaster have now sold out too. When trying on their website all I can get is "Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available." I guess this means the entire London concert is now sold out… impressive stuff given that the capacity of Hyde Park concerts is usually around 50,000 and they’ve only been on sale for 30 minutes!
If you’ve missed out on the general sale you can still purchase tickets from third party resellers (although you may have to pay more than face value). Currently all three sites listed below have availability from around £60: viagogo, Seatwave and GetMeIn:
Leave a comment if you’ve managed to purchase Kings Of Leon tickets today, or let us know your experience trying to get hold of them – we’ve found the SeeTickets, Ticketline and Ticketmaster websites incredibly busy this morning.
According to details on the presale page on Live Nation’s site, it looks like the event starts at 2:30pm and "under 16s must be accompanied by an adult". I believe this concert is part of the annual Hard Rock Calling series of events… officially only Pearl Jam’s day (25th June) has been confirmed so far on the Hard Rock Calling website (Pearl Jam have Ben Harper, Wolfmother, The Hives on their day, so I’m guessing other bands on Kings Of Leon’s day will be announced shortly?). I went last year to see Neil Young at HRC and it was a fantastic day out – beautiful sunshine, great music and overall the event was well organized.
On the official Kings Of Leon website there is a link through to the presale purchase page – which is currently live… however, at the bottom of the page where you select your tickets, it describes this as a ‘Fanclub Presale’
The general admission would appear to be priced at £47.50 plus a booking fee of £4.75 per ticket (=£52.25). For UK customers postage is £3.25 for standard mail or £5.25 for Registered Mail. For customers outside the UK, DHL International Delivery is £9.75. Alternatively there is an option to collect at the venue for £3.25 (please read the full T&C before purchase as often promoters state the cardholder needs to be present when collecting tickets). This info can be found on the presale page.
If you miss out on tickets during the exclusive pre-sale, tickets will be going on general sale at 9am this Friday morning (19th February). The official site states they’ll be onsale through livenation.co.uk – so I’m not sure if that means exclusively through Live Nation, or whether places like Ticketmaster, SeeTickets and Ticketline etc will have an allocation to sell?
Alternatively if you can’t get hold of tickets this week you’ll undoubtably be able to find tickets on viagogo, Seatwave and GetMeIn. (edit: there’s already tickets listed for sale on viagogo)
If you find out any further info on the Kings Of Leon London Hyde Park concert please leave a comment! Any ideas of support bands etc? Let us know if the presale page works for you, or if you’re waiting for the general sale. Good luck!
Update: Wed 17-Feb @ 19:31pm
Ticketmaster list the Fanclub Presale booking period as starting today at noon and ending Friday morning at 8am (Start: Wed 17/02/10, 12:00. End: Fri 19/02/10, 08:00). Also they list the actual concert start time as 4pm. SeeTickets list the event as HARD ROCK CALLING – KINGS OF LEON, so I think it’s safe to assume that it’s part of the series of events under the Hard Rock Calling banner (even though that hasn’t been mentioned in press releases/new stories I’ve read elsewhere so far). It does indeed look like you’ll be able to buy tickets from normal ticket agencies on Friday morning as both Ticketmaster and SeeTickets have landing pages set up on their sites.
Update: Thu 18-Feb @ 15:31pm
Ticketmaster appear to have a Absolute Presale at the moment whereby you can grab tickets via this link (edit: link has now expired)
Update: Thu 18-Feb @ 18:11pm
@LiveNation have just Tweeted that their presale is now sold-out! "Stop press! We’ve just sold out of presale tickets for Kings of Leon in Hyde Park – who managed to get their hands on tickets?!"

Kings Of Leon have just released a live Blu-ray and DVD – recorded at one of their seminal London O2 Arena concerts during the summer of 2009. The Blu-Ray version is available from today (23rd Nov) and features stunning high definition picture quality and sound, the perfect way to enjoy this wonderful band :)
Kings of Leon: Live At The O2 London, England, captures, up-close and personal, the band performing in front of 18,000 adoring fans on one of a three-night stint in June 2009 in London. These shows were some of the biggest of the band’s career in the country that was the first to embrace them, and the symbolism and excitement is palpable. As those who have attended the band’s shows can attest, Kings of Leon go out of their way to have great sound, unusual for the arenas they play in. Produced by Emer Patten and directed by Nick Wickham, Kings of Leon: Live At The O2 London, England, the live sound was mixed by Brent Rawlings while the DVD sound was mixed by Jacquire King and Vance Powell.
